Bio

As a seven year veteran of professional cycling, Barb Howe has become one of the most recognizable personalities of the U.S. cyclocross scene. In only her second year within the pro cyclocross ranks in 2005, she earned a nomination to the national team and represented the United States at Cyclocross World Championships in St. Wendel, Germany. Since then, she has excelled in road racing and mountain biking as well, posting top finishes in every discipline at national and international events.

The 2009-10 season represents Barb's first full schedule of racing since recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon injury suffered at the Hofstade World Cup in Belgium in late 2007. With support from her new sponsors Vanderkitten and Ibis Cycles Barb will compete in a diverse array of events and chronicle her adventures on her popular, longstanding Cycling News diary and her blog.
